Cost-of-Living Refund

What would a Cost-of-Living Refund mean to these women?

Single working mothers are the backbone of the U.S. economy, yet in 2015, more than half a million single moms held full-time jobs and still lived in poverty.

"Every extra dollar counts," said Abegale Ifill, a single mom from upstate New York.

A Cost-of-Living Refund would give a guaranteed, monthly income to working people, putting money back in the pockets of those who need it the most and helping them make ends meet.

Stephanie Jackson, another single mom from Ulster County, New York, added that a Cost-of-Living Refund would "enable me to do more things with my kids, which I can't right now because I'm always constantly working."
